When the Fellowship of Orthodox Stewards was founded in 1980, its members made an enthusiastic and enduring commitment to support and empower the work of The Orthodox Church in America’s Church Ministries and Departments through voluntary giving. Today’s FOS members continue that commitment. Through their FOS contributions they support the Church’s life and growth on many levels and provide invaluable resources to parishes, missions, and communities across North America. 


Through FOS membership, we enable resources to be developed that assist in all areas of Church life, including Christian education, evangelization, liturgical music, pastoral care, outreach, youth, young adult and campus ministry, as well as humanitarian aid. These resources are made available to clergy and laity who serve the Church at all levels. There is no better place to see the success of FOS than in the eyes of our youth, in the voices of a parish choir, or in the gratitude of those searching for the Orthodox Faith. Because of your support for FOS and the work your gift accomplishes, faithful across the continent are encouraged to nurture and strengthen the Church for the future.
